In a bid to alleviate the financial burden on deserving and impoverished families across Pakistan, the Ehsaas program has announced a significant increase in the financial assistance amount. Starting February 2024, eligible individuals will now receive 12,000 rupees, up from the previous 9,000 rupees, acknowledging the challenges posed by inflation.

Simple Registration Process for Ehsaas Program
To avail of this assistance, a straightforward registration process has been implemented. With over 600 tehsil offices established nationwide, individuals can easily register for the program.
Additionally, alternative registration methods will be outlined, ensuring flexibility for applicants. This simplified process aims to facilitate widespread registration and subsequent eligibility for increased financial support.
Emergency 12000 Cash Program for the Unregistered
For those who have not yet registered or are ineligible for the program, an emergency cash program has been introduced.

To initiate the registration process, individuals are advised to visit their nearest Benazir office, obtain the necessary survey, and complete the registration form with personal information.
Upon submission to the tehsil office representative, applicants must await an SMS notification from 8171 regarding their eligibility.
If declared eligible, individuals can then collect their financial assistance from the nearest cash centre.
Online Verification through Ehsaas 8171 Portal
A new online portal has been launched to streamline the verification process. By visiting the official government portal, individuals can enter their National Identity Card information and the provided code to check their eligibility for financial assistance.
This innovative approach allows families to confirm their eligibility from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the need for repeated office visits.
Transparent Payment Method through Tehsil Offices
Addressing previous concerns about payment-related issues, the government has implemented stringent measures for 2024. Over 600 tehsil offices have been established nationwide to ensure transparency and resolve any problems faced by beneficiaries.
Individuals encountering difficulties can lodge complaints at their nearest office or opt for online complaint registration through the citizen portal, guaranteeing swift issue resolution and the full disbursement of entitled amounts.
